A reading room with no walls, no books and no chairs — only the outline of rooms. Black steel frames trace volumes of different scale and tilt across the gallery floor, and the visitor reads the space by walking through it.

Each frame is drawn at the scale of a domestic room. Some stand square, some lean, one hangs suspended at an angle — a room that has tipped over mid-sentence.

As the light moves through the windows during the day, the frames double as shadows on the walls and reflections on the floor, so the drawing is never read the same way twice.
